The MATRIX clinical research study has been the focus of media attention in multiple regions across the U.S., including television news features. The MATRIX study is currently enrolling patients with non-healing diabetic foot ulcers to determine the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication called Excellarate™. Excellarate is designed to stimulate wound healing and is topically applied once or twice over the course of the study.
